I was just at Animal Kingdom this past sunday, and I was surprised to see that there was no yeti at all, not even the disco yeti. how long has this been going on? it was just a big dark space.

We were at AK on Monday and the only Yeti we had was the cartoonized "shadow" Yeti. No "real" Yeti.
Oh well. The ride is still awesome w/o him, LOL.

I just went on the ride a couple weeks ago and without the Yeti the queue loses a lot of meaning. I feel they have to fix the Yeti otherwise invalidate much of the effort they put into the elaborate queue... it would be nice if they let somebody know their intentions since so many people would like too see it fixed, plus it would support Disney's reputation of proper maintenance.

I was reading today a post by an Orlando Magazine that Everest is an odd experience now, being just very dark where Yeti once stood.
Hopefully he will recover from his operation soon.

Anyhoo...the one in the white, with the braided pumpernickel danishes on the side of her head, looks like she'd put a LOT less force on the structural/mechanical systems than that big...furry...whatever that is...?
