I Blame Disney

I blame Disney for why I feel so old lately. Today I did some research and I figured out why!

1) Finding Nemo came out 8 years ago.

2) Toy Story, over 15 years ago.

3) How about the Lion King? Yeah that was 17 years ago.

4) Beauty and the Beast? Coming up on it's 20 year anniversary.

5) The Little Mermaid? Well, it came out so long ago that it is closer to the moon landing than present day!

To me it feels like these movies were all fairly recent. I remember them like it was yesterday. I hate being old. Darn you Disney for giving us films that linger in our memories so long! :lol:

yup....sure does do that...it doesnt seem like we are getting older but we really are. but the movies let us keep our "youth" for eternity!! wow thats crazy numbers though....although b&b and lm i was like 10 when they came out, and now my dd4 loves them...its so cool!!

Dang! Toy Story came out 15 years ago!? I was 5 years old! that doesn't even sound right, it really doesn't feel like it wasn't that long ago :lol:

Wow, I am by no means old, (Haw haw!), but Finding Nemo came out that long ago? I remember watching that in theaters! That and Treasure Planet. The former is a great movie that I will love and treasure forever, and the latter is a fairly decent movie that I will watch only when there is nothing else to. Good day!

It has been that long and we having Found Nemo????

I am not old but there are others around me who sure are.

You know what! I remember seeing The Lion King in a Drive-in theater! I was pretty young but I still remember it!

At 33 I must be ancient then.

It's the clips at the end of the Great Movie Ride that do it.... Top Gun, Platoon, Terminator, all in the early to mid 80's

And the fact I was first in Disney World 20 years ago!!!

Scary stuff - I remember seeing all of those in the cinema like it was yesterday! Time flies when you're having (Disney) fun!

All I can say is WOW! I watched the Little Mermaid a few months ago and it feels just like a couple of years ago that it was out.

I may be getting old, but those movies never do.

uuugggghhhh so long ago. no wonder my niece and nephew don't get my disney movie quotes. time flies when you're having disney fun.
