    Bypass Main Street USA

Disney is shovel ready and construction workers are looming around. They are putting in a new bypass to Main Street at the Magic Kingdom that will serve to alleviate congestion on Main Street during crowded times. This bypass will run behind the right side of the street (Starbucks/Main Street Bakery side.)

Disney has always used this area to funnel guests when Main Street was crowded however they are now construction the bypass to be On-Stage verses Off-Stage since what guests saw wasn't very magical. I did however find it interesting the first time I took the bypass. I've also been able to walk the left side too on New Years Eve on year when both sides back stage were opened up, that was more interesting and dumped you out on the outside courtyard area of the train station.

They aren't really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.

Interesting! Never knew there was a bypass there. Makes sense though.

You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.

I guess they're taking a page out of Disneyland Paris' arcade area. There are bypass streets running on either side of Main Street, with occasional access to the shops. Hey, Disney isn't about to lose out on a possible buck.

Really Walt? Disneyland is MY land? Why would I want a silly little land when I can have the WORLD.

I was wondering if they would put back doors in.
