If Walt Disney was still alive, things would be different. But I mean that in a good way. I don't know what kind of changes would be made.. It would be cool to meet him![]()

I don't think anything would be skimped on. Everything would be bigger, better, and looking more towards the future.

I have wondered the same thing about epcot. it is not really what he envisoned. there is no city of tomarrow like he wanted. I mean I love epcot I just think walt would be dissapointed with it.

Your 14 year old disney expert!
If I go crazy, will you still call me superman?
I would wonder what kinds of attractions would be in the parks today if walt had been around to help more with disney world, there would probably be some awesome attractions!!

I believe Walt Disney was a perfectionist, and I think the parks themselves would be more pristine. A little paint and polish never hurt! Disney quote " Give the public everything you can give them, keep the place as clean as you can keep it, keep it friendly"
. I also think the little niceities would return, I once met a CM that told me they were no longer allowed to give small childrem a small cup of popcorn while they were waiting in long lines for refreshments, it was little things like this that made WDW so special
. I don't think he would approve of Mission Space or Stitch or the fact that they closed down 20,000 leagues Under the Sea years ago and never replaced it with anything. I think he would cringe at the site of Primeval Whirl and Triceratop Spin and of course the "Fossil Fun games", this is all those carnival types attractions that Walt wanted to avoid

. Animal Kingdom probably would of never been opened with the few attractions that it had and Kali river rapids would not be so depressing
! Another Disney quote:"I would rather entertain and hope that people learned something than educate people and hope they were entertained".

I think Walt would actually never accept that. I believe Walt would like what Epcot is, but not like the fact that what it is, is his dream.Originally Posted by DisneyFREAK91
Walt would want the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow to be a community with people. Not just a place where people go to have fun for the day and see some interesting technology and learn some cool facts. Now do not get me wrong, I LOVE Epcot! It is my favorite! But it does not follow Walt's dream.
If anyone has read the book Waking Walt, then they should know why I believe that the book would show Walt's thoughts of the parks and company as a whole. The book also talks about Walt thinking that the Disney Cruise line is great.
