Yes, it looks like they are taking 2005 "pre-orders" contrary to what I was told. I was going on the info I got directly from WDW and am going to wait until the end of the month. Also, I still cannot find on the website where to mark for VHS or DVD. Does anyone have a screen with a DVD choice listed?

There have been several mousetakes (errors) on the WDW site since they upgraded the site last year. I mentioned to them that the AP portal was not working and shortly afterward they added a disclaimer as to the problem. The disclaimer stayed on the site for weeks while it was working properly in a day or two. With an organization as large as Disney there is bound to be confusion at times.

One good thing about being old is that you know all the tricks of marketing and salemanship. I have read on other sites where some people really think they are getting a bargain, which they are sort of, but to me the "never expire" option is worth the extra money. I mentioned on another thread that Disney has been trying to do away with never expire tickets for years. If you can buy a $60 ticket now and use it 10 years from now when the cost will be say $100 is a true bargain for you, but not Disney.

Also, Disney finally caught on the families were using 5-10 old tickets with 1 or 2 days remaining to get FastPasses, but changed the software in the machines to reject tickets that were not used for admission.

Just Received the New Planning DVD

I just received the new Planning DVD today and it is by far the best one yet. It is totally different than the one online. It's a little cheezy with four different actors looking at the different aspects of each park. One actor focuses on adrenaline rides, one focuses on food and activities, one focuses on children's activities and the last just talks about everything else.
It shows almost all of the rides, shows, ect... They did a good job of taking the mystery out of going to Disney World. For those that have never been, this is a great way to get a feel for what is there.
The DVD case comes with a second CD for your computer. It is a very interactive planning program that is fully automated. It has video, sound, and animated graphics. For every resort there is a long list of interactive photos. You can see the pool, rooms, and different parts of the lobby. You can look at the different ticket options, extras, and can even book them if you are online. It also has different vacation suggestions for every different age group.
This is a must have for every Disney World fan. Order it now! It's Free!!!
