Im want to try out for belle anytips???
okay so my high school is going to put on the play beauty and the beast!!!! finally a disney play but it is my senior yearso i want to go all out and try out for the part of belle of course being a loyal disney fan i already know all the words and the songs what else would help me be a shoe in for the part i want it so bad!!!!!!

My only real suggestion I can give you to check out the many online musical theatre groups. I don't have a favorite one at the moment, or I'd recommend one to you. They field these types of questions all the time, so they would have a much better idea of what would make a good audition piece for a particular role as well as what songs are over done at auditions.okay so my high school is going to put on the play beauty and the beast!!!! finally a disney play but it is my senior year

As a drama teacher/director of school productions all I can suggest is to be confident but not full of yourself, practise hard before the auditions and go on to the stage as Belle. I get the kids to close their eyes,count down from 3 in their heads, open their eyes and imagine that they are their character. It helps with nerves too.

Good advice, Tasha. I'm also a music/drama teacher and I work with a community/church theater that just present Beauty and the Beast in November. Belle is a great part, but you really need to BE her. Her innoncence, her *****, her compassion. . .it's a lot more complex than it might seem on the surface.

Apparently my last post got edited. I didn't realize it was a 'bad' word . . . I was just trying to say that she has a lot of energy and I used a corny '80s word that starts with 'sp' and rhymes with a style of music popularized by George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelics . . .Sorry!
