AAA Discount on tickets etc

I think I posted this in the wrong place the 1st time. Sorry.

What the discount on tickets using your AAA card? It it worth it to spend the $50 on the membership fee? I don't want to get a membership if the discount is nominal.

Hi! I think they are worth it. I always purchase my tix at AAA. Keep in mind that if the intial price does not seem to be worth it, that AAA prices INCLUDE the tax, the WDW online prices do not. This past year I paid $239 for a 5 day parkhopper (adult) and $203 for the 5 day park hoppper (child). I live in NJ so this included the state sales tax and no hidden fees. I think it's worth it if you have AAA or know someone who does. I don't know if I'd pay the extra to get AAA. I did a lot of research before deciding, but I have always used AAA and haven't regretted it!

Check AAA.com,. they list the prices there.

Also, if you want to add on or include a no expiration, you can do that at the parks.

Are you able to use it on the rooms at the resort?

yes you can get a 10% discount when booking the room. The person who's name is on the card must present and I thinkthe room has to be booked in their name.

thru disney.. our trip was going to be $993 and with the AAA it is going to be $908.. so it is a slight savings.. but if i didnt have a AAA membership i wouldnt worry about it

I used AAA to buy tickets this year 5 day park hopper is now $254, 4 day is $252. We bought the 5 day because we were arriving at 6 pm and we had 5 good hours in the magic kingdom for only $2 more per peraon. We also used the discount for the room because they did not have any rooms for the annual passholders discount. Saved 15% each night. Oh, I almost forgot you do not pay sales tax for Florida when you use AAA for buying park tickets.

when we booked and went last year. the lady at AAA only asked if we were members she never asked to see the card or anything... and when we went to disney they never asked to she his card... and when i booked this time.. she still didnt ask to see our cards??

but last year we only got a AAA discount on one room out of 3 because we booked the friday before the monday we were going to show up.. it was kind of on a last min deal... LOL

this time its very planned thru!!
