No I didn't, but I'll be sure to send you a PM when we know for sure when it's going to be. It's kind of a joke since oiginally 3 years ago when we first were planning it we had like 7 members who were interested and then it only ended up being two of us!T-Nina (iwannabeminnie) and me! So we've continued! It will probably be the first Saturday (or maybe second Saturday) of December. We go for the Lights Before Christmas!!!
I'll let you know when I know for sure!
Unless something has just changed recently....like within the past few months....the ones from any Disney Store work at the parks!![]()
I just called our local Disney Store to confirm and yes...you can still use them at the parks!![]()
you are too sweet! I was planning on doing that today and never got to it. Okay, so they can be used in the parks....but where? Anywhere? Shops? Food? Use in just like a credit card?

The Disney Store has a gift card that can be used in the parks and at the store. I believe they also have the ones for the store only, though they may have been phased out. Remember, the Disney Store chain is no longer owned by the Walt Disney Company, but Hoop Retail, a division of the Children's Place. (Hoop is Pooh spelled backwards)
Disney Dollars are always a nice option as well!

Eleven Visits Since 2003!!
anywhere in the parks that accept them... so basically food , merchandise, anything... I believe 99.9% of the places on disney property accept the giftcards!

Yep....what she said! The boys both had one when we went in August and there wasn't any place that they weren't able to use it. And it was soooooooo much better than having Disney Dollars since the largest denomination they sell them in is STILL $10 (which BTW...I think is nuts!).
But the $10 one has Stitch on it <.> & if you got a $100, well that's your own lil galactic terrorizing army lol ^^
(If I'm here, then I'm probably supposed to be animating instead.)

The biggest advantage of using the DGC over the DD is the safety factor. Remember, DD are like cash - if you lose them (which is a strong possibility with kids), you are out of luck. But the DGC is both reloadable and replaceable. So, you can start with a card with a few dollars on it and add dollars on the same card regularly leading up to your trip. Then, be sure to take a digital photo or write down the number on the back of the card. If the card is lost or stolen, you can call the number on the card and report it. They will cancel it and prevent unauthorized use.
TDS can do this because, even though they are no longer owned by Disney, the $$$ on the cards goes on Disney books and TDS doesn't count them in revenues.
