2009 Disney Refillable Mug Pictures?

That's strange... the mugs we got at POR are similar to that, but the red background with the characters goes down to the bottom. There's no white at the bottom of ours, and they're shaped straight from top to bottom. I like the shape of the one in the picture because it is the type that would fit in my cup holder more securely.

Does anyone know why some mugs are shaped this way with white on the bottom but others are not?

Does it depend on resort? Or did it change part way through the year? Our non-white bottomed mugs were from POR in July.

I'm curious if we can actually get the better shaped ones (with white bottom) when we go to ASMo at the end of this month. Anybody purchase mugs there recently that can tell me what type you got?

honestly, we have used the same mugs for like 5 years now....
ours do NOT have the bottom that fits into cup holders.

absolutley not.
I could easily imagine that 99.9% of those that use "old" mugs....have no issues at all.
You wont have anyone question you for using an old mug. If i did...id just ignore them and keep on fillin...
Note: im willing to bet that right now....over 85% of mugs that are in use, are old one.

Our August mugs are colored all the way to the bottom. I'd take a pic but I put them back in the bag for next month. That will be the first time I've recycled our mugs.
I have a collection some with resort names on them. Most with the year. I've been there in August and they had a holiday snowflake design. It was probably very busy and they pulled out Christmas mugs. Last month we had a choice of color of caps. Handy to identify everyones mugs I rarely see people with old mugs but then I don't make a point of looking at anyones mugs.

I bought mine through a resort and it was actually resort-themed. I guess that was one way to prevent your mug from resort-hopping along with you. They claim they enforce the no-transfer policy, but now that they're becoming generic, how can they?

My baby will be very happy with this mug. I wanna to have this for him. Its seems very attractive.

I've seen a LOT of mug reusing. Mostly folks who have YOAMD mugs. Never seen anyone have a problem. Even saw one family roll up to the drink station with about 10 of the old mugs, noone blinked.

The Dinning Plan we have for our holiday this year comes with a free refillable mug, so I'll be using that one in September
