Buying at the gate?
In my trip in December 2007, we brought tickets in advance, at a cheeper price that the normal gate price.
However when we got there there were many offers on at the gates, in local supermarkets such as Walmart and just around Orlando on International Drive and on highways, most of which would have made our tickets much cheaper than buying them in advance.
We are goign again December 2009. Should we, again, purchace the in advce of wait untill we get there?

Disney sells tickets at a discount to a number of legitimate resellers. However, beware of those places that sell "used" tickets, or the ones that require you take a tour of a timeshare/vacation home. Their promised 2 hour tours/presentations are often 4 hours or more, and the sales pressure is intense.

Re: Buying at the gate?
I'd stick with the legitimate discount tickets and purchase in advance. Don't take a chance on the "local" re-sellers. There really is no way to tell what is left on the ticket and I agree that the timeshare visits are not worth the time you spend.

rather than run around we buy before and have our tickets from Disney. didn't think you save that much.
