Only if you're staying at a value... and I'm pretty sure you can just upgrade to the regular dining plan (it'll be cheaper than buying the dining plan outright). Although, maybe not worth it when you have to pay full room rate as well, depending what you're already paying!

ok.. so i called AAA. sorry beth.. :( but they added it for me and it saved me $154.. my trip went from 927 to 773. and im stay at pop.. so i dont know.. they done it :)

Ya they might just have upgraded it to the regular dining plan for you and its not that much to upgrade.

You get the Quick service free if you are staying at a Value resort but you CAN upgrade to the Standard dining, or Deluxe dining.

With the Moderate & Deluxe resorts you will get the Standard dining for free but you can upgrade to the Deluxe dining.

wanna know when my vacation is booked for? Dec. 3-11, 2010. :( we normally travel that second week of December, but it is my fiance's birthday on the 5th so we wanted to be at Disney during that time. that extra 600 saved could of paid for the in room celebrations im planing to get done for her.

This does almost every week, but ours. However it only saved us $1 as we got a 30% discount on our room. Oh well....

i didnt fall under that discount that they release like a month or so ago.. and i was so mad i didnt meet their dates for the discount.. im happy i got this one though!

we had gotten the 40% hotel stays and we didnt fall under the discount either, which made me sad since i was willing to upgrade to a deluxe resort at that price.

maybe we can get lucky and get the email for the free upgrade.

So are you saying there is still a chance, I could get the discount or the dining, even though the week we are going is not on that list? Nov3 - Nov 10th. We are booking next weekend, We would've changed it to meet the guidelines but we already bought and paid for our flights. And all the arrangments are made for that week now. Been waiting to see what the discount was going to be, this is sad, after waiting to see how week is blacked out..., and for no reason really. :(

yeah Disney sends out a limited amount of emails giving families a free upgrade to a deluxe resort, but my understanding is it applies to families staying at value resorts.
