Why people like stitch

I was thinking about what you said and how some people might like stitch... Yes.. some people do... The reason most disney geeks dont like it is because when we think of disney we have a level that we need them to meet... STitch didnt reach that level.. Which is why most of us dont like it and first timers might like it.... by stitch i meant the attraction...

I LOVE Stitch and I'm no first timer! I will admit though that when the movie came out I thought it was stupid but then I watched it and liked it.

I'm a simple person that doesn't over analize everything Disney does. If you start getting to picky about it you'll end up hating what you love the most.

i love stitch, he's such an adorable character who tries to understand what he did wrong when he gets in trouble & he can pick his nose with his tongue ( like i could, if i wanted too.) although i wasn't too please with his attraction replacing alien encounter.

Real quick..cause I can see where this one is going...Lou and I where not talking about not getting Stitch "the character" (I personally loved the movie and Stich...Lou...maybe not so much)

However, "Stich's Great Escape" is another thing all together.. It is the ATTRACTION I just don't get how anyone can like it.

Personally I like Stitch, but I don't really have an opinion about the attraction itself. We do enjoy the gross stuff though.

I Love Stitch. He's a rascal. He's lovable, but you know there's going to be trouble coming right around the corner. He's devoted to Lilo too.

Ohana Means Family
Family means no one gets left behind...

How could you not choke up at the end of Stitch Has a Glitch. Made me ball like a baby!

I've been to Disney numerous times over the past several years and I still haven't gone in to see that attraction. We might go in this time because we are running out of new and different things to do. I didn't want to take my daughter in there when she was 4 becuase I heard it can be overwhelming, but she's almost 7 now and she could probably handle it.

I know its supposed to be a pretty blah attraction, but I'll do it just to say I did it. Kind of like Everest!!

Part of the problem, I think, is that the hardware of the attraction (e.g, the seats and the 3D audio) were designed for Alien Encounter. The reason they had the shoulder harness was to support the audio technology (binaural sound) that they were using. Alien Encounter also used sensory depravation to increase its effect. It all worked pretty well. From what I know maybe also too well as many young children were very frightened by AE. In softening it they've effectively taken the teeth out of the experience. If AE was a horror movie, Stitch Escapes is a horror movie without the horror which makes it mostly boring to most people. Given the popularity of Stitch the character I can see why they'd want an attraction involving him. As economically disadvantageous as it might have been had they gutted the AE building and built a completely new ride for Stitch it would undoubtedly have been a better attraction.

Im not opposed to the ride. Its not something that I will need to ride every visit. Its my least favorite attraction in MK, but I would still pick it over anything in Universal.
