One thing that you should keep in mind was that the old show, mouse tunes took considerably longer to edit than thier new ones will, as they both made source recorings at thier individual sites and then edited them together, it was an editing nightmare I'm sure, when they say they both had other things they wanted to pursue, I'm guessing there was just MUCH more time consumed by the process of putting together the Mouse tunes shows than there will be needed to put in those behingd the scenes portions of this show, I put together a rather simple podcast myself and it can be time consuming, I just can't imagine what thier process must have been like!

Yikes.

There's nothing wrong with asking, people. Lou and Nate have expressed their answer to the question by not deigning to respond. The last thing they need are defenders hoping to earn their favor by leaping on anyone who dares to put forth the theory that maybe the split was a bit less amicable than originally stated.

Frankly, when I first heard the news, I figured it was cos Lou was just too classy a dude to associate himself with something called 'MouseDate'. My theory was proven incorrect when Lou didn't actually know what 'Project Creepy' (oops, I mean Keira) actually was. Oh well! Bust!

Now then I wasnt trying to anger people by posting the original comment. I just thought I would throw it out there in off chance that somebody knew anything more about the cancellation.

Whoa whoa whoa... Without getting into an online argument (which is not something I even care to waste my time with) first of all you obviously have some resentment that Mousetunes is no longer around, as do many other people. "Gall" is not a bad term, so I would hope you aren't taking the word out of context, I wasn't trying to insult anyone with the word, sorry if you portrayed it as that. Secondly, I never insinuated that you were talking bad or disrespecting them. Finally, yes it is "they." They are both working on their own projects and podcasts, just because Lou has alrready begun his, doesn't mean Nathan isn't currently working on his. I would hope that when I saw Nathan a week ago he wasn't lying about the new podcast he was working on! (I'm only joking...)

Like I said, I am just glad I still have them around to entertain me during work.. lol

I think it is safe to say that the two people who would know what happened are Nathan and Lou, and they have already said all they are going to say on the subject. Anything else is hearsay, rumor, speculation, and none of anyone's business.
well put.

While I can appreciate people's natural curiosity as to what may have gone on "behind the scenes", I'd ask that you respect and accept our explanation that we have on the show. Sure, I knew that speculation would follow, but understand that the conversation and decision was between Nathan and myself, and that is where it shall remain.

No need to argue, or make something more out of this than it should be, so just come on over, tune in to WDWRadio, and enjoy!

Thanks again to everyone for their support!!!

Of course Lou! I appreciate all the hard work and time you and Nathan spent on MouseTunes and look forward to all the great shows in the future. Speculation is natural, but you're right, let's not let such things dampen the very bright prospects of WDW Radio!

Even though I do miss Mouse|Tunes a lot, I agree with respecting what good terms Lou & Nate left it at. You would not want people poking at your friendships, so let them be.

But I have one BURNING QUESTION...
Can I still wear my MouseTunes Podpeople shirt?

And I have just one more little question...
When can we expect Magical Definition & WDW Radio shirts?!?
I know its kinda early, but I love to support what I like. And I'm hoping for a shirt a lot like the Mouse|Tunes one, because I loved it!

So guys, you have my 1971% support (Bad joke?) of your podcasts and new endeavors!

Theres probably nothing wrong with Mousedate (I dont know never tried it) but there is a preconceived notion that "oh its an online dating site" (and again wouldnt know because I havent tried it) but when most people think of those they think losers who have no social skills trying to connect with other losers with no social skills. So if I had to guess I would say thats probably where hes coming from and I might agree with him just on that sort of a concept

Arrow Thread Closed

This thread has gone off topic. The merits of MouseDate have no place being discussed here in this thread. If you would like to discuss it further I suggest you do so through PMs, e-mail and/or by opening appropriate discussions on either MagicalMountain, FlickDirect, Magical Definition Podcast or on MouseDate.com itself.

Thank you for your understanding.

I believe that the original question has been responded to and it is now time to move on.

On that note, I am closing this thread to further discussion.
