 | Ideas for Disneylands TSI I love Nathans Idea for Discovery Island (once known as Treasure Island any how), and besides in the MK the Pirates is not adjacent to the Rivers of America, where in Disneyland it is adjacent. Also one of the big reasons Dl went for this is that their TSI is a bit run down they have re-done small portions of it over the years, but this would get the rest of the island including the fort which has been closed for YEARS now fixed up and prettified, most of the folks who are against this have let their imaginations run wild and are imagine them doing things like making the island a sandy tropical isle with palm trees, Pirates did not only travel in tropical areas, we had pirates along the NC coast and we're just a bit far north for palm trees you just add things like instead of looking for Tom Sawyers Paintbrush looking for a key to a hidden treasure, imagine a childs sand box with hidden treasure much like the bone yard at animal kingdom has bones for jr. archeologists to uncover, this is just one idea, it ieasy to imagine that the cave on the island might be places that pirates had used as a hideout as well, so a lot of that re-theming could be simple signage replacement, but the fort out there is only used for dressing rooms for Fantasimic and a break area for TSI CMs perhaps it could be rebuilt as a Spanish Fort that would allow dressing rooms and break areas to be put in an off-stage area of the fortress, yet have an on stage area of the fortress that we re-introduce guests to this area, to me this would be the ideal. | I was really confused by Nathan's response to this news. I either expected him to wholeheartedly endorse the POTC Island in Disneyland or be completely against it. It's almost as if he just didn't really think much of it either way? Can you clarify your thoughts a little bit for me there Nathan?
