Same songs: JC & TOT music loops

I have a decent amount of theme park music and I've noticed that the Tower of Terror queue music loop (which is 40's big band & jazz) and the Jungle Cruise queue music loop(which sounds like a 40's radio broadcast) both have two of the same songs: "Deep Purple" and "As Time Goes By". They are different versions by different artists but the the same songs. I thought this was interesting. I don't think it can be a coincidence. Has anyone else noticed this oddity? Your thoughts on the subject are appreciated.

It might just be me, but I don't really see what is so strange about it? The coincidence is that they are peculiar to the era and so they fit. JC and ToT share roughly the same context. You could theoretically stay at the Hollywood Tower Hotel on your immediate return from making your millions on the Amazon or the Zambezi.

Or am I missing the point? Is it that Disney chose to use the same song but from two separate artists? That could be for a whole host of boring reasons.

(By the way, is it the Florida JC [Albert AWOL] or the California JC [the GBC]? I can never really work out which of the two I prefer. They're great pieces of theme in themselves.)

Ya it makes sense to me that they would use some of the same songs... and maybe just have different artists to slightly better suit each ride? I don't really see what's odd about it (it is interesting though!)

Does anyone know where I can down load Disneys magical express pre show and post show music?

D-Cot has the magical express pre and post show that you can listen to (would love to have it for my ipod if anyone has it )
