I tried to take my camera out on Dinosaur when I was evacuated on that but instantly got a torrent of abuse from the nearest Cast Member. Fair enough, I thought, but I really wished I had gone for it anyway. Could have used the old "sorry, don't speak English".

While at Disneyland Paris, I was towards the back of the park late in the evening, and decided to ride Phantom Manor to close out the night. I walked up and walked right in, no line. I got off the ride, and walked back around the house to ride it again, just to kill time. This time the door was closed when I got there and had to wait with one other small group. By the time the ride was over, I still had a few minutes and asked if I could ride again. They said sure and told me to stay seated to go back around. The operator radioed ahead and told them a guest was still on.
Where am I going with this? Not sure. Oh wait, yes I am. In connection with the lights-on view, I got to see the area between off-board and loading. Nothing at all to see as there were no lights and the area was dark. You can hear the music, though. There was a small descent, but not enough to need to rotate the cars. Neat part of the ride that most guests do not get to experience.
