I tried to take my camera out on Dinosaur when I was evacuated on that but instantly got a torrent of abuse from the nearest Cast Member. Fair enough, I thought, but I really wished I had gone for it anyway. Could have used the old "sorry, don't speak English".

The only time I'm out your way is when I'm on my way to Marceline and that's rarely. I don't believe in hurting children, mine, yours or anyone's so you have nothing to worry about.

I hope your kids are strong enough and smart enough to recognize my above comment was ridiculous and obviously in no way a serious recommendation. I do hope you get to see things with lights on some day, it could happen.

While at Disneyland Paris, I was towards the back of the park late in the evening, and decided to ride Phantom Manor to close out the night. I walked up and walked right in, no line. I got off the ride, and walked back around the house to ride it again, just to kill time. This time the door was closed when I got there and had to wait with one other small group. By the time the ride was over, I still had a few minutes and asked if I could ride again. They said sure and told me to stay seated to go back around. The operator radioed ahead and told them a guest was still on.

Where am I going with this? Not sure. Oh wait, yes I am. In connection with the lights-on view, I got to see the area between off-board and loading. Nothing at all to see as there were no lights and the area was dark. You can hear the music, though. There was a small descent, but not enough to need to rotate the cars. Neat part of the ride that most guests do not get to experience.
