Very cool!
During the Christmas Party this evening the new castle projection show debuted for guests.
Very different than last years.
Some people are like Slinkies.
They aren't really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.

BTW, how does this one compare?
Just based on the video I've seen of both, it looks like it's a little sharper. And a little more interesting.

I did not like it on YouTube last year but did enjoy it in person. The photographs of guests were not sharp. Actually Disney fudged on the daily new photo's last year and starting just leaving up the same guest pictures daily.
Nobody but the CM's and guests that were in the parks really noticed though.
This one looks like it will hold children's interest better. More colorful too. Nice that they tried to bring the Mouse and Walt into the show.

Very nice! Although seems to me unless your willing to start finding a viewing spot way before show time, your not going to get a good view. Are more fireworks displayed later in the evening?
It is a difficult show to watch unless you plan ahead. It isn't like Wishes where you can catch most of it without standing around guarding your spot, even worse for children because even if you have a spot, like a parade, you can't see it if someone taller is in front of you. And to make it worse for the general guest 2 big spots are dessert parties, Noodles Terrace and the sunken table area on the water by the Plaza, the smoking area. It was roped off by half.
My DS pulled me through the crowds and knew where to have me stand at the 11th hour, near the plaza and I was able to see most of it. Unlike wishes the few trees Disney hasn't removed make it tough to get a good vantage point to see all of the castle.

Thats a shame about the viewing opportunities. Seems to me like Disney found another way to take money from the guests via the dessert parties. Also if that is it for fireworks they are saving alot of money. This video is probably the best view I would ever have.
Wishes came after the castle show. They were separated by maybe 30 minutes??? I watched wishes from the Circus area. It was empty back there at night and I saw enough of it making it worth it not to be in the hordes of guests on the front side of the castle.
