A Musical History Of Disneyland - A Question

Well, I just ordered my copy of the Musical History of Disneyland (which can be found here: http://http://disney.store.go.com/DS...duct_Id=182205)

I was viewing the Track List, and had a question about it. Some songs are listed as simply Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, and Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. Is this track the entire show/ride, or is it the main song from the attraction?

Taylor, your link isn't working. If you're talking about the 6 disc set, I believe it's the entire ride. I could be wrong. I have the 2 disc "Official Album of the Disneyland Resort" album & when it has the songs from the ride & excerpts from the ride as well. For example, the tiki song is just the first song from the show. I'm sure your disc would have the entire show since it's 6 discs. That will be a wonderful collection for you!

This is part of what makes this CD set really awesome. It's the entire soundtrack, at least the Haunted Mansion is. It's over 7 hours of tracks on the 6 CDs. I haven't listened to all of it yet.

For example, the HM track is 13:52 long....POTC is 16:07 in length.

I am so happy I splurged the 125 bucks to buy it! What about the Country Bears? MSEP? Is it the whole song, or the 5 minute version?

Did you know Disney Visa members receive 10% off this set until sometime in August?
I paired mine with that discount and free shipping back in June, so I got it for $112.49. It was the cheapest I could find it w/o going to eBay.

    Country Bears is 15:33 long.

Country Bear Christmas Special is 16:11 in length

MSEP is 9:13 long, you can clearly hear Alice, Peter Pan, and Pete of Pete's Dragon fame all talking. If you have this Disney Classic CD: Volume 1, the version on DL Set is I think better.

Haunted Mansion Holiday is 16:40, and it's the Premiere Edition.

    Thought of another question...

For the "Remember...Dreams Come True" track, does it have the introduction from Julie Andrews?

Interesting note on the concept of "is it the attraction soundtrack?" question...

Most attractions don't have a full soundtrack - there are many different parts playing from different speakers at once, but there's no overall mix, so it actually had to be created from the tapes. They did an amazing job - there's some information/discussion at http://magicmusic.net/ about it with Randy Thornton who produced the set. another interview here.

And yes, the Rememberů has the following at the top of it.

"Good Evening, this is Julie Andrews. Once upon a time, there was a magic kingdom made of hopes and childhood fantasies, a timeless place where every land was filled with wonder, a place where everyone who entered its gates would be given the gift of the young at heart and the power to wish upon a store and unlock it's magic. Are you ready to wish upon a star, then it's time to wish upon a star and remember.... dreams come true"

Along with some more narration that I won't type out during the song.

i know this isn't the same disc set, but on my disneyland 2 disc set I bought, the remember the magic firework display & the leann rimes song are switched according to the track list on the cd case. Anyone else have this & notice it as well?
