Lightbulb A Musical History Of WDW

    THE BACKGROUND
Following on from listening to A Musical History Of Disneyland, I found myself wondering if the same fantastic archival treatment will be given to Walt Disney World in the decades to come.

    THE AIMS
Basically, what would YOU want on this set? Let's say anything from the resort can be considered. Go ahead and post what would make you buy it. If we get enough people posting here, we can turn it into a sort of fanlist.

    GETTING THE BALL ROLLING
I would love to hear a mix of Florida's POTC. Granted, it would just be half of California's, but with some random waterfall and seagull sound effects before hand. It would also be good to see a solid Toad track, I'm dying to hear the theme again.

    THE SEEMINGLY INEVITABLE 20K REFERENCE
Yes, it is inevitable, but I would kill to see the attraction's narration presented in its original Surround Sound-style recording, cleaned-up digitally. To this day, I'm still to come across this piece, even the bottomless-pit of Disney-Central failed me. It would be neat to throw in the organ track as well.

    THE MODERATION DISCLAIMER
For those elite few who wield the God-like power moving and deleting power -
If this needs to go elsewhere other than here, then sorry for the *****-up in advance!

    Ready?

It's a Disney thing. If you understood, your only question would be "can I go?"

I'm surprised tht no one has said it yet...

    HAUNTED MANSION!!!!

Also, MSEP and the tracks for all the IllumiNations shows would be cool.

I'm thinking the current SSE music, the preshow for Ellen, some Millionaire cues, the entire Star Tours show (including the conversation between Threepio and Artoo, the saftey preshow, and the full ride), and the Dinosaur ride soundtrack.

I would want the soundtracks for all of Disney's night shows. Fantasmic, IlumiNations, Wishes, Dreams, Fantasy in the Sky, etc. As well as MSEP and SpectroMagic. You would also have to include a montage for each land.

I think they should put noth Carousel of Progress songs. I like "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow," but I really love "The Best Time of Your Life."

Right, we can probably start dividing these up per park. So, I make it that so far, we have some of MK, some of Epcot, some of MGM Studios or Disney Studios or Waste Of $ Studios or whatever it is called these days, and of course, some from AK. I'll probably go put these lists up then.

Okay, here's how I'll work it.
There are four lists: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios or Disney Studios and finally Animal Kingdom. Within each, it then breaks down to the different lands. Within the lands, suggestions can be made as to what attractions should be included. With a limit of one attraction per user, it's first come-first served to get the Mansion etc. You can then add in as many tracks as you want. Try and stick to the format below, it will make it easier for a flowing read. At the end, I'll pull all of this together, if there is still interest in it.

    I'll go first -

MAGIC KINGDOM - FANTASYLAND - 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA
    1. Radio announcements and commercials from 1971
    2. Area music
    3. Caverns seagulls loop
    4. Queue narration
    5. Queue music
    6. Attraction narration
    7. Attraction organ background
    8. Attraction soundeffects
    9. Caverns evacuation warning
    10. Closure announcements and radio spots from 1994.

Let's see what y'all come up with.

All of the music and narration from HORIZONS!!
The music in the two "theater domes" on that attraction was incredible.

All of the music from The Candlelight Processional (which I am listening to right now - in September ).
