    Epcot's days of glory 1989

This is the Epcot of my children's childhood. Just look at the visitors roaming about and the piles of guests hoovering around Imagination. Fountains before they became planters, Flamingo's. Definitely the glory days of Future World.

Yep! That's a great video! Broke my heart to see Horizons. Sure wish all that was still around.

Just downloaded the video. Wish the loop on the monorail was full, not cut up.

I'm subscribed to that persons channel on youtube. Bunch of really good vintage video from the 80's. I sure am glad someone had the foresight enough to know we would enventually long for those days and took video of it so we can all remember.

Re: Epcot's days of glory 1989

Now I'm going to have to go look at the rest of the stuff, thanks.

We had a hand held vhs recorder that we took on two trips, one at Christmas. My DH recorded so much, from the Original Osborne on the Streets, the overlay on Country Bears, so much good old stuff from like 1992-1995. I just have zip idea where it is. We stopped bringing the recorder because it became tedious for my DH and a pain to lug around. Disney use to have those old metal strollers and it fit nicely in the metal basket. But ours was significantly better than the one we had borrowed from my inlaws from time to time. I envy the parents now with the tiny palm held recorders.

    similar to ours of yesteryear.

Glad you posted this. I just downloaded all of his videos. Slowly, my Disney video collection is beginning to rival my Disney music collection!

Re: Epcot's days of glory 1989

Thanks to this one, I found a TON of other old stuff that I'm downloading now. Old parades... didn't even know Disney ran Easter parades on TV. So I've saved a few from the 1990s. There is a treasure trove of goodness on YouTube, but you need one place to start and the others appear. I need to reconnect my external drive and start moving stuff over. I literally downloaded over 100 segments just now.
