Re: Keeping Busy In "Que"

i hated standing in line at WDW the last time i went (last summer)-not because they were too long, but because they were moving too fast! i don't have time to memorize all the HM on the upcoming ride! haha!

Re: Keeping Busy In "Que"

A simple game that kept my friends and I in stitches was simple Word Association.

Say the first thing that comes to your mind, and the nest person says the first thing that comes to their mind off of the word before them. Try not to repeat, and keep it clean. It is funny to see where some people's heads will go.

I love getting the paint brush! You get a free fast pass to either BTMRR or SM and a fastpass to anything in the park!

Re: Keeping Busy In "Que"

I'm sorry, I do have a question about the paintbrush...Are they just randomly around Tom Saywer Island? Is it just a fun scavenger hunt to find them? And is it just a regular paintbrush?

And to usually beat the lines, we will plan out our day or so. Plus, we do like to play trivia games. And now I have so much trivia from the podcasts I will know more than my dad!!!
But also, we have tried to look for hidden mickeys. Although, whn the Jungle Cruise line is at a standstill and I'm looking at a crate trying to think which Imagineer it is...people start to look. Which, we have talked to many people in line before. The people at Disney are always the nicest!!!

Re: Keeping Busy In "Que"

There are 3 paintbrushes (one per family) with white wash on the end of it. Yes, they are randomly hidden around TSI. Hoped that helped.

p.s. It helps if you go early in the morning, that way you have 3 chances to get it! My family usually goes there after splash mt so we aren't baking in the sun.

Re: Keeping Busy In "Que"

I always carry a paperback with me at all times, especially through the parks. Non-Disney books, of course. Living in NYC, I roll my eyes at every family walking through the streets with their NYC guidebook in-hand, so I would never be in WDW with my nose in a guide or Hidden Mickey book. Too corny.

We people watch, and try to get conversations started with someone around us. You can meet some cool people that way.

I like to talk to people, people watch, I like Jason's wife am a card carrying member of the fashion police, especially during the summer.
Disney should put mirrors in their guest rooms. We also play 20 questions.
Think of something specific somewhere in WDW, rest guess, taking turns.
Works well in long lines like Space Mountain.

Eating is also an option.
