Personally, I didn't think so, but I can polish off 3/4 of a bottle of wine w/no problem. If 1 martini gets you, the slushie may too...
I'd suggest being sure you are drinking on a full tummy. And worst case you nurse it for a while so it doesn't hit you all at once. Florida is usually warm enough that carrying a nice cold drink w/you for a while isn't a bad thing.

I didn't find it very strong. It had a bit of a Dreamsicle flavor but not as "Orangie." Very subtle and smooth. I don't like strong drinks at all so this was right up my alley.

Have any of you brought a flask of something to avoid the exorbitant Disney prices?

Nah, I'd feel like a wino.

Then don't fill it with wine.

I think part of the fun of drinking around the world would be getting the unique drinks that you can't get anywhere else... so bringing a flask would kind of ruin the effect.

Not to mention the looks you'd get taking a pull off of it. You could always fill an Animal Kingdom canteen!

Drinking on the cheap would ruin your fun? I guess you and I have fun differently.

We calculated the cost of a case (24) of beer if you bouught it at WDW. We paid $5.50 per beer which gives us a grand total of: $132.00!!!!!! We went to Gooding's at the Crossroads Of Lake Buena Vista, bought a case of Corona, kept it in the fridge at The Boardwalk, and saved a bundle while we were at the pool. Now when I'm on vacation, sky's the limit but beer is beer so if you can get it cheaper, go for it.

Re: Drinking around the world
I went on the Disney cruise last September and brought a bottle of bourbon. I used a room water glass and filled it with ice at the drink station. Lord knows how much I saved by doing that and my glass blended in with everyone else so no one said anything about it. I even took it to dinner. I would definitely do it again because I'm not paying their crazy prices.

We do the same thing, except we don't go to Gooding's. It's too expensive for us! We go to the Publix that is near the Premium Outlets. They had the same plastic beer bottles that they had at the pool bar so we didn't have to worry about "no glass around the pool" rules.

I've never been to the Publix but I did have to transfer the beer to a plastic cup because of the no glass rules. Gooding's is expensive but it sure beats WDW prices.

I don't drink to get drunk, or just for the sake of drinking like a lot of people my age do... I drink to taste different things. Even if it was all non-alcoholic I'd still pay for drinks around the world. To me, the fun of it is just the taste.
