| is supercalifragilisticexpia lidocious | Joke on first timers We all have done it, gone to Walt Disney World with a first timer (not a little kid) and tricked them into doing something. Like tricking them into drinking Italy Cola at EPCOT or something of that sort. Share your Tricks on first timers here. Mine is we went to WDW for my 16th birthday and it was my bestfriends first time there since she was like 5 so we trick her into sitting next to Goofy at MK on Main Street. she sat down and when he started to talk she jumped up. Also we went to EPCOT the next day and went on Figment and never told her about the smell part. she started to freak out. Poor Sydney, she didn't trust anything I said for the rest of the trip.

| It's funny you mention the soda. I always try to trick people I'm with to drink the Beverly, but since we're all from Atlanta and have tried this several times at the World of Coke, it doesn't work out too well. The funny thing is is that I've tried it so many times, it's beginning to taste normal to me. Still not great, but I'm not totally grossed out by it any more... |

| Last year while visiting Club Cool with the family a 12 year old boy came up to us and started talking. He followed us around and was one of those people that would not leave you alone. Finally, I asked him if he had tried the Beverly. He tried it and liked it. In fact, he yelled to his mom across the room and asked if she had tried it. She yelled back that she hadn't tried it yet, but "they are all sooo goood!" Go figure. |

| Re: Joke on first timers Beverly isn't that bad, once you have drank grog Beverly tastes decent. We get new people on Splash Mt. We say " get ready this is the big one" on every hill so once it truly is the big drop they don't believe it. Or ( if we know they wont get sick) we trick them into Team Orange and tell them video is messed up. Or tell them Everest is a slow moving train ride Or Dinosaur is nice slow ride |

| Re: Joke on first timers tell them that dinosaur is a nice, slow ride, and they must be thinking of the thrill ride in epcot- universe of energy. also tell them there are supposed to be seatbelts on splash mountain, and there is a 65ft drop in the maelstrom

| Re: Joke on first timers My niece 7, was leaving for WDW in a week. She was talking about Splash Mountain. She is the type of kid that is too afraid to willingly try anything, but once she does she loves it and rides it over and over. She asked, wondered about riding Splash and I told her all about it. Told her she would have a blast. Concerned about the drop I told her again, she would be fine, the ride is tame and didn't even require a lap bar or seat belt. I convinced her. She called me from her cell phone when she got off Splash. Didn't enjoy herself down the final plunge. Aunt Gabe, You lied and you used very poor judgement. All I could do was say I was sorry, and laughed and laughed. Just reminded her of that story yesterday, now 11. |

| Re: Joke on first timers I told a friend that Pirates of the Caribbean had a big drop, and when we hit it, he screamed his head off before he realized it was tiny. Everyone in the boat laughed at him. ![]() Last edited by Clarabell Cow; 04-01-2009 at 12:31 PM.. |

Ha, Ha...we did that once to complete strangers that were in front of us in the boat. We had heard them talking about never having been on the ride, so when we were seated and getting ready to go, we talked about the big drop. When we got close to the "drop" we all made comments and held to each other....They were so scared. But, they did laugh with us about it afterwards.
