Bibbidi Bobbidi

We have two little girls who usually get a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeover once each trip, so they're pretty tuned into the signature look the Boutique gives, especially the hairdo (high, tight, heavily sprayed bun, lots of glitter, Micky barrette in the back).

Since they love the experience so much, they started eagerly spotting other little girls (and occasionally boys) who've had the makeover. It's developed into a game of spotting kids with Bibbidi Bobbidi hairdos - if you spot the kid first, you get a point, and the winner at the end of the day gets lots of respect and satisfaction. We had to make rules about what would "count", ie "next day" kids (the 'do will stay for an additional day or two if you don't fiddle with it too much, and don't go swimming, but definitely looks less crisp the next day, lol), or kids who're wearing the hairpiece and dress but not with a fresh hairdo. We usually have to negotiate these guidelines in the morning. When you're dealing with a 6 and 8 year old, you want to avoid conflict.

It always brings a confused smile to the target's face when one of us points and happily yells, "Bibbidi Bobbidi!!!"

My kids are obsessed with this game, almost more than finding Hidden Mickeys!

thats too sweet :) after my daughter had hers done we went to sea world.. you should have seen all the looks and comments we got..lol but through the day she had me remove a bobby pin here and a bobby pin there. then the crown.. and last was the fake hair.. which left her with a slicked back crazy looking braid thing..she was a princess walking in and a mess leaving sea world..lol

yeah mine always end up dismantling the hair after a few hours. Sea World would have a lot less Bibbidis lol

I always love to keep the hair in when i get mine done! ( Well when I was like 9) I still have the Mickey hair clip and I love to wear it!

You can definately tell the girls that have been to the boutique! I haven't noticed the boys, though....what do they have done?

does anyone know any details about the pirates crew one.. i think i wanna take her to that one this time :)
