Your shoes are untied

This is probably one of my favorite in-jokes at Disney. Someone wearing sandals or flip-flops walks by and you tell them that their shoes are untied. All the cast members do it all the time, as well as a LOT of the guests. It's happened to me a lot, and I look down every single time.

Anyone ever do this?

I personally can't stand flip-flop wearers at the parks. Oh what, I accidentally stepped on your 80% bare feet in this dark, gloomy queue? I'm very sorry... (sorry it didn't hurt more!)

That's FUNNY. I agree 100%. I'm heading out today to WDW so I will try to get people with "your shoes are untied".

see now when im down there all i wear are flip flops... but i dont complain if someone steps on them... but my g/f laughed at me on our last trip because my flip flops must have been slippery and i was slipping over myself every time the ground was wet... never will i wear american eagles brand again...

I've never even owned a pair of flip-flops so I never heard that one but I have heard them ask other guests (wearing a Winnie the Pooh shirt) if they knew they had "pooh" on their shirt. I think it's funny every time I hear it.

Ya I only ever wear flip flops too... cause its always the summer time when I go and its hot (I refuse to wear socks when its that hot out) and it rains a LOT. I also jump in any water play area I can find when its hot out. Wet sock/shoes= a miserable day for me! I get a pricier, sporty, comfortable pair though, no Old Navy cheapos for me!

I have had that joke done to me once while there (I looked haha) but I've never been stepped on either. My bf though got his sandals stepped on soooo much. Not his feet, but the sandals so when he went to take a step he'd trip and it would jam into his foot and it looked kinda painful. I blame his walking on that though, since it never happened to me... he has very long, awkward legs haha.

One of the ones I used to do as a cast member was tell anyone wearing a t-shirt with the Incredibles on it that they had "An Incredible shirt!" Funny looks followed by either rolling eyes or a chuckle always followed.

At the jungle, this is just one of the many "fun and games" we play. Another one of my favs is where I go up to a random person, stop and stare and then say "Hey . . . don't I know you from somewhere?" wait for response. "Yeah . . . weren't you in my kindergarten class? You don't remember me? I was that one kid who ate the brown crayons thinking they were chocolate. Hey, how are you doing? Do you still like to fingerpaint?"
