When on the monorail while standing take your hands and with your thumbs touching and other fingers touching around the poll you alone or with other people can try to make it from the TTC or where ever try to make it to your destination without touching the poll.

My kids love it and somtimes I have to stop them when the monorail is crowded.

I do that on the subway twice a day five days a week. And that trip's not half as smooth as the monorail.
