So I was on my way out of the park Sunday night (2/4/07) when "The Spot" caught my eye. It looked different - and at a second glance, I realized that the window displays of the Watch shop had been changed for the first time in... well... in a long time I guess. When I look back at all of the pictures that have been posted here on DWT of the windows of that shop, they all appear to be the same, complete with the hidden mickey in the cogs and gears.

The new look is a much smoother, less cluttered, classier look I think. It looks good at a first glance, but I already miss the old window displays. I'll have to take a better, closer look when I'm not in a hurry. (I only had a second to whip out the camera and grab this shot, hence why I didn't have time to reshoot after I discovered the woman in my way...)

Good reporting, Don! It looks like they are doing a lot of changes on Main Street (Market House, Bakery, Center St....) Maybe you can keep us up to date?

I'm actually sad to see the window change, having been used to seeing it the same way for so long. Oh well, change sometimes is good, even if its doesn't seem so at the time, right?

I'm sure in one of the many pages on this thread this is answered but can someone tell me very specifically where this shop is on main street? I want to have my husband take a shot of my son and I in front of it next week but with a little one it's much easier when you know exactly where it is.

Guys, I can't tell you what a smile that picture put on my face today!!!

To know that you all took time out of your vacation to go there and take that photo means more to me than you know. I almost get choked up when I tell my dad what he started 35 years ago, and proudly show him the photos of the tradition that our family here continues to carry on.
