Let's make this a REAL contest, with prizes and all!!! We can run each contest for a few weeks, and then I'll pick which caption wins the prize!

Ok, we'll keep this one going until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, January 9 (due to the holidays), and then I'll pick a winner (hopefully someone will remind me).. I forget thinsg easily ). Someone can post a new picture, and we'll do it all again!!

Pink shirted pirate sets down his Mandolin strtches a bit then rests his hand back on his still sheathed sword "I'm bored" he says, his figers of the hand that has its palm rested on his sword begin fingeing the handle, "I'll think I'll go over to the Enchanted Tiki Room", pulls out his sword and turns to go, stops, inspects his blade, and his eyebrows arch slightly as he looks back at his friends one more time and says "You know they say that parrot tastes just like chicken." His friends look at each other with slightly shocked expressions, shrug thier shoulders in unison and fall into a quick time step to catch up to thier friend.

I would say as many asyou can think of, so the more captions you submit, the better chance you have of winning (of course, the final descision rests with Lou!)

How about this idea for a new game...every week, someone posts a picture from one of the many in our Photos Collections, and we try to come up with funny captions for it? This is popular on other websites, so why not try it here? I'll start it off with this photo:
