Photo Contest for December 2008 - Holiday Time @ the Resorts

Welcome to December's Photo Contest! This month's theme is:

Holiday Time @ the Resorts

Submit a photo of Holiday Decorations found at any of the Walt Disney World Resorts. It could be Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or any other Winter Holiday.

Rules:
1. The photo can be from current or past
2. The photo must be yours, do not use other people's work or copyrighted photos (this includes Photopass Photos and on-ride photos)
3. The photo must be acquired legally. (i.e. do not submit a photo that used a flash in a no-flash allowed location)
4. Photos cannot be digital altered in anyway. (Red Eye reduction is acceptable)
5. Photo may not have won a previous DWT photo contest.
6. You may only enter 1 photo into the contest.
7. Please upload photos to the DWT Gallery if possible; this will allow for easier access in linking them to the voting and winners threads. Post your pictures in this thread to enter the contest.

Please note there have been an addition to the contest rules.

Contest will run until Wednesday, December 31st. Then we'll put it to a vote from our members. The person with the most votes will be announced the winner. Winner will receive a great DWT prize!

ok question.... is this from any holiday?
or Christmas Holiday?
get confused because of the fact that Christmas can be know as "happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas"
just wantign to make sure?

I was looking for Winter Holidays - Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa etc. I didn't want to say Christmas Decorations because it excludes the other holidays.

I'm having difficulties uploading to the gallery so I had to upload it to photo bucket, sorry.

So many holiday pics makes it difficult to choose what one I'm using...

so I'm going with my gut and choosing this one. A holiday Classic!

The Christmas tree at the Yacht Club. (I think it was the Yacht Club, it could have been the Beach Club.)

I don't suppose Disneyland photos would qualify? And when you say digitally altered in any way, do you mean any editing such as lightening or darkening?

Here is mine taken 12/6/08 during the filming of the Christmas Parade

To all those going to Mousefest the entry for pictures as AFTER MF ends, so if you don't have any now you can get some while you are down there.

Dang! I just noticed you have to submit by the 17th! We won't be back yet. I was hoping to get a nice shot while down there because I no longer have any of my photos from our 2003 Christmas trip on my laptop. :no: Looks like I'll have to sit this one out.

When do you get back?


Are a lot of people going to WDW this month that would want to participate? I can extend the date if that is the case.

I'm going to extend the entry date for this contest until Dec. 31 to accommodate all those people going to the parks in the next few weeks.

This is Christmas at the resorts right? Two pics are pics from the parks.

Here's a photo from Christmas 1971. With the park only being open a couple of months, I'm surprised there were any decorations at all. I have heard that these were on loan from Disneyland, but I'm not sure.

Never mind- I thought the contest was for all of WDW Resort.
