I am not sure of the software's capabilities to add a link in the gallery to driect people to the forums.

What it sounds like to me is naming confusion rather then anything else. Is PHOTOS confusing and something like GALLERY be better?

I am working on making a new drop-down menu for the nav bar in the forums which will take you to the gallery, contest or forums.

I'll also see about adding something like that for the gallery...

Does that help at all?

Yes Lou, that's what I'm suggesting. Under PHOTOS... have ALL things photo related. Easy. Member photos, park photos, photo contests, photo forums... all things photo related in one photo-type place. I don't think renaming it "gallery" or "multimedia" will help things much, but I can see where you'd want a place for videos and such.

Just food for thought. (as Homer would say,"ooohhhhhh.... foooooooooooooood... ::insert drool here:: )

We're off to Anaheim tomorrow to go check out the Candlelight on good 'ol Main Street USA. I'm sure it will be beautiful as always. I love the one at Epcot, but nothing gives you goosebumps like seeing hundreds of singers carring candles down Main Street with all the lights out. Perfect.

I don't mind the overlaping. Once you are done voting, just go over and see the new topic and submit a photo.

I do like the suggestion you made in another thread about 'rain' in a picture. I would suggest to widen that topic a bit to include some of the man made weather items Disney creates (like snow). :mickey:

I see we are doing a Holiday Photo contest right now, which isn't limited to Christmas Holiday but that seems to be what everyone is posting.

How about a Holiday photo contest just for Halloween in October/November?
A Flower and Garden contest this Spring?

I can't seem to locate my MNSSHP photos at the moment....hrmph!!

Very good idea, I shall keep that in mind. I figured we would see many Christmas pics since we are in that season. I opened it up larger in case someone doesn't have Disney pics at Christmas.

I like the once a month idea -

Being a mom - Best kids photo is always a good contest since almost all my photos of DW have my kids in them. Even if some of you don't have kids, the contest would be one of many to come.

I just 'borrowed' mom's photos from my first trip in '79, and they sure are scary!
