photoshop newbie

I just bought Photoshop Elements 7 and I'm pretty excited - I love seeing everyones amazing edits. This however, is the first time I've ever used Photoshop and am very confused. I did buy a book from Barnes and Noble to help learn, but I am a very visual learner - does anyone know of any (cheap) video turtorials I could try?? What do you think is the best way to learn photoshop?

Not sure which book you bought, but I highly recommend the Scott Kelby/Matt Kloskowski Photoshop Elements 7 book.

Very nice enhancement! If Elements has Shadow Highlight adjustment check it out. It will help you with the bottom of that photo.
