This was actually given to me from my sister. She went to WDW back in the 80's with her school and has had this and a postcard set for all these years.I tried to upload all of the pics but it seems I couldn't. So I guess I will have to upload them at two pics each until I get them all up.I also have the postcards and I will upload them too.Evetually.Glad you liked them. My first trip to WDW was in 1987 and these must not have been given out by then.

Now now, my little grasshopper; don't be so hard on yourself. I don't always read every comment by everyone before I post either. Wax on/wax/off!

Swan Boats, baby! Definitely remember that card.
I may even be in that Main Street pic. Loved the old flower shop (R.I.P.).

Fill me in, when were those swan boats there in operation? These postcards were given to me from my sister when she went there in the 80's. My first trip to WDW WAS in '87,but I never saw these.

They went out of commission in the early 80's. I rode them several times in the 70's, and the views they offered were unique. Especially the "behind the scenes" look at Adventureland.
To be perfectly honest I never truly appreciated them at the time. Thought they were an "old people" ride.
But, looking back my memories grow fonder by the day.

The Swans were floating between May of 1973 and August of 1983.

I would never presume to ask your age (I'm 42), but it seems that you recall almost all of the things I remember as a kid.
Do you miss the "old school" WDW as much as I do?
