and voting continue in our first contest, since it's the start of a new month, let's start our second Photo Contest!

This month's contest subject?
Favorite Character in WDW :mickey:

This must be a picture of a character taken somewhere in WDW.

Be as creative as you like!!
Same rules as the previous contest apply.

Oh, and your submissions must be in by: 11:59:59 p.m. on June 14, 2004

(Please note that the contest length has been modified from one month to two weeks)

Great idea for a contest/thread! And just curious - a full month for the contest? That seems a bit long to me, but that is just my opinion.

RU - Understood.. Mickeybabe had the same suggestion... so we'll make it a 2 week contest instead

MickeyBabe - I was thinking these should be un-retouched... but that's a great idea for another upcoming contest - "Best Enhanced Photo" etc.

That would be a very cool idea for a contest, a photo manipulation contest. That would be interesting.

Here are a couple ideas based on that:
1) Everyone uses the same source image
2) Have a group of 3 to 4 source images that we all use

And of course sometimes the contest can be about a particular item and we all use our own source images.

Just food for thought.

Hmmm, hard for me to decide. I had 5 that I liked that I uploaded to my Gallery. I guess this is the one I like most. Great smile.

to post an image:

1. go to picture you want and right click
2. click on properties
3. highlight address of the picture and right click
4. choose copy and close out property window
5. go to forum and choose "post reply"
6. look for yellow picture icon and click on it
7. right click and choose paste
8. click ok
9. enter a breif description
10. click on submit

*ok - why can't I get the IMG command to work? Is there a different syntax that I should be using?

Lou- I've got a question. Do you have to post the photo or can you just mention which one of the pictures it is in the gallery? I'm just curious.

I don't really know how to post a photo as part of a thread, and I don't really want to make any mistakes while doing so. I'd like to enter this contest, so please answer, OK? Thanks.

Thanks Brian. After doing it your way I discovered that the command here is the [img] and [/img] command instead of the html command that some other boards use. Thank you so much for your help.

RU... just an an FYI... I have disabled the HTML commands (such as , etc as a security measure. It is only done to protect members, as someone could hide malicious code in an HTML link that could... well... do very bad things to their computer.
