Photo Contest #3 - Best "on-ride" photo!

The subject matter of our third photo contest will be:

Your Best On-Ride Photo

Here are the rules:

1. The picture must be taken while on, in, at, etc. an attraction
2. The photos must be your own... no copyrighted or use of others' images permitted
   
   
3. Members may make more than one submission to the contest
   
   
4. You may either post images here as attachments, or upload them to the photo galleries
   
   
5. Once the submissions are made, we will have a poll to vote for the best photo
   
   
6. Lou is not eligible for votes - any photos he submits are for fun only and should not be considered in the running
   
   
7. Aw, what the heck... let's have a prize for this one! The winner will receive a limited-edition (no, really, it IS a limited edition) DisneyWorldTrivia.com pin! (If you have a pin already... well.. now you have two)

This contest will run for three weeks (due to the holiday and to give people a chance to get their pictures) and end on July 23, 2004, so get your entries in soon!

Woohoo! I'm really excited about this one. I'll have to go through all of my pictures and find some good ones. I know there is no limit on the number of entries, but I'll try and keep it to a minimum.

The funny thing about picture contests like these is that what you think your best pictures are, others might not like, and what you might not like, others love. It's tricky. Such is life, I guess.

I know it wasn't posted in the rules, but are there dimension restrictions? As in, it must be a 2:3 (4x6 photo) ratio, or something to that effect? I might have to get creative with my cropping, if not.

Kev... I didn't place any restictions (other than avoiding huge file sizes).. so go ahead and get creative if you like!

Well, I am going to enter 3 into the contest. They will appear in the threads 'full sized.' I have 4 others I like and I will post them as thumb nails - I thought you might enjoy seeing them.

I really like this picture because of the attention to detail. The clock, the broom, the pen and papers, mostly filled trash can, the scissors hanging on the wall, the bottles - all add to make this a great scene.

The color contrasts are fantastic. And the eyes of the snake, really seem to be boring in on you. You can tell what is on his mind - lunch.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirates life for me. Except I don't want to be the one on the bottom. And their costumes have great contrasting colors.

I like the aladdin photo, just because of the effect the long exposure has on colors. The test track one I like, just because it's hard to take pictures on rides of that sort. Enjoy!

I won't be here to see the contest end. Believe it or not, I leave monday for a family trip to none other than Disney World! We'll be coming back on the 26th, so I'll vote if the poll is still open. Just thought I'd let you all know. I'll take tons of pictures and find some great trivia questions and hidden mickeys.
