Our Fourth Photo Contest is (finally) here!

The subject matter for this photo contest will be:

WDW Nighttime Extravaganza ("show" just doesn't do it justice)

Here are the rules:

1. The picture must be taken of a current or former Walt Disney World nighttime show
   
2. The photos must be your own... no copyrighted or use of others' images permitted
   
   
3. Members may make more than one submission to the contest
   
   
4. You may either post images here as attachments, or upload them to the photo galleries
   
   
5. Once the submissions are made, we will have a poll to vote for the best photo
   
   
6. Lou is not eligible for votes - any photos he submits are for fun only and should not be considered in the running
   
   
7. The winner will receive a limited-edition (no, really, it IS a limited edition) DisneyWorldTrivia.com pin! (If you have a pin already... well.. now you have two)

This contest will run until September 1, 2004, at which point voting will begin, so get your entries in soon!

Well, the time to submit your entry has come and gone... and that can only mean one thing - it's time to Vote!!

I have attached a poll to the top of this thread, and this time, you have LOTS to choose from!! We received some really incredible entries, and remember, there are no losers.... just people that didn't win.

I think I remember which one I voted for but I am not sure. How do I check? Also if I want to change my vote how would I do that?

Thanks Trendy I must have wierd taste because I'm the only one voting for the one I like, and the one I'm angishing over possibly changing it to has no votes as well. If this thing ends up as a multi way tie (as can happen in a group with a small number of voters) perhaps next contest we can have a staggered vote system whwere we can place a first place vote (3 points) a second place vote (2 points) and a third place vote (1 point), then again that would probably depend on if the forum software we are using would support that type of complex system wouldn't it? Still if it is an option I think it would make it a little eassier since there are so many nice photos to chose from.

Brian, If allowing multiple voting is difficult for the forum software, I think it might be a good idea to limit the numbers of entries each member may submit.

Although we could allow for multiple votes, I do not think that it can be weighted in that way

A thought I had today about this....

When you post in the regular gallery each person can grade/rate a photo. The one with the highest average wins? Just a start at least.
