I have them, you have them, we all have them…those wonderful photos of you with your favorite Disney Characters. I thought it would be fun to have a place to show these photos. Here is one of my favorite character photos, me and Tarzan. Also, if you have a story of what happened during the taking of the photo. The funny store for my picture is my mom and some of the other moms waiting were joking about how good looking he was and other comments that I won't share...it was SO embarrassing!

OK - I have one which very few people know about. Wes Palm. Wes can be found in front of the AK. I have already posted a photo of Wes in the Photo Area under the Animal Kingdom section.
We ran into him while we were waiting to enter for the Backstage Safari tour. Wes came up and asked my wife if he could "try on" her hat. she took it and placed it on the planter box and Wes took off heading towards the lines attempting to "sell" the hat that he just "found". I don't know which looked funnier, us standing there talking to a potted plant or me chasing said potted plant to retrieve the hat!
Needless to say, the moral of the story is "Never lend your hat to an unescourted tree"
Keep your hands and arms inside the post at all times and remember no smoking or flash photography please!
Nice MSM! I would have loved a pic of you running after the tree wearing a hat.
Does Wes Palm appear at any specific time of the day, or is it random? Also, is Wes the only "talking" character at WDW?

Wes is pretty random, and no, he's not the only talking inanimate object at WDW theme parks... where can you find another???

Epcot - the talking water fountains
and there's a talking trash can - either at AK or at Epcot
I've heard that there is also a talking trashcan in Epcot, I believe in the Electric Umbrella. Am I correct on that?
And do you count the rope outside the Indiana Jones attraction as a talking inanimate object? Probably not because it can't carry on a conversation as the water fountains can.

There's also "PUSH", the talking trashcan in Tomorrowland in MK. I've never seen him personally, but from other people's reports, I know he's there.![]()
Favorite Buzz Quotes: To Infinity and Beyond!!!!!
Tell me I wasn't that deluded!!!
He's the Cutest, Handsomest character EVER!!!!
What I meant was there a person inside Wes providing the voice, versus someone with a mic some feet away, from say the water fountains I have seen at EPCOT.Originally Posted by AKQJ10

When you see Wes Palm you'll realize that a person would have to be pretty small to get inside that (perhaps a munchkin???).....and if you check out the photo that I posted I think you might spot who Wes' voice is (well, maybe....I have it down to one of two individuals who are standing in the closest line. There's the guy drinking coffee with the hat in the shorts and then three people behind him is another guy with sunglasses and floppy hat. Which one would you pick?
