A Troll near Norway on Constitution Day this year (5/17/06).

Whenever I go to Norway in Epcot, I always think of my Uncle Thor who passed away in 1999. He was 100% Norwegian and soo cool. I don't know why, but I feel like he's there when I go to the pavillion (I'm weird!)

Really cool Pic Craig, I've taken a few pictures in the Astro orbitor like that over the years too! I have a few variations on this theme I want to try too like riding on a tea cup that is grouped on the same "plate" as another tea cup you are both spinnig at the same rate except for the amout you control it with that center spindle (I think there are three "plates" with six cups on each plate) so you can get a clear picture of folks in a neighboring cup with the background artfuly blurred, theres even a postcard with a shot like this (and Goofy in the cup too, before the cups had a roof over them at that).

^^ I'd love to have a day (or two) to be free to take pictures / videos, trying some unique perspectives and effects as you mentioned. My last swing through MK last year was only 4 hours long - too short to shoot the shots. Someday my prints will...

Oh, my gosh! I remember River Country. Stayed at FW with friends in 1987 and went to River Country. I kind of liked it.

Hey Donna! Haven't bumped into you in a while! I enjoyed River Country when that was all there was. Although I admit that I (led by my Floridian aunt) would always escape the MK in early afternoon and hit the pool at the Polynesian (with the lava formations and slides) changing in the public rest room and pretending to blend in. I never stayed at FW, but did ride the train at least once. I'll keep digging for more "old" pictures...
