Ok so this is in The Animal Kigdom. Nice, i know.
and The Gorilla is just for fun! He's so adorable when he is sleeping!
Well i took the pic with my OLYMPUS camera, but i used the night vision to take it, I tried taking it about 6 times before i realized the camera had to be perectly still while on night vision. THANKS!
and yes, that is indeed Genie's armpit!I was the only person above 5 years old in line to get my pic taken with him!

Ah... you have a night mode! I get it! I noticed that the picture was very bright - a TON of ambient light. Sometimes I think too much light makes a picture look funny, but in this example I really like it. I think it makes it look kind of surreal. Almost dream-like. I was just asking because I wasn't sure if this was an effect you were trying to go for, or if it was just something that came out by chance. And if you were were trying for it, I wanted to know what kinds of settings you used to get it.
I'm very impressed however that you got a shot to come out that clear without using a tripod or something similar!
Hey, I waited in line for Genie! Just a few months ago, too! Are you calling me a kid???Originally Posted by Walts_Girl

Meeting Genie wasn't all fun and games though, because while we were gathering up our things to get out of the way for the next group in line, Genie unintentionally backed into me, pushing me back into a corner, stepping on my foot, and smacking me with the back of his arm before he heard me calling out to him and his handler saw that Genie was unknowingly trampling me. But unlike that guy who tried to take Tigger to court over a similar case, I just decided to let it go at that. I'm no dummy - I know darn well I can't do so much as the simplest magic trick, and there's no way I could ever attempt to duke it out with the Genie!![]()

I believe the shot above is my ATTEMPT at a photo of the crocodile pool (that's Mike Demopolis of the Mouse Station podcast in the foreground) there's a story here I heard Fred block tell on someone's podcast (It may have been WDW Today). As we crossed in front of the Crocodile exhibit there was a large wading type of bird sitting on the island in the middle of their habitat, one of the largest crocodile started coming out towards it but it just hopped back a little and the Crocodile kept coming out, our jeep erupted in noise as everyone saw this and it just continued in slow motion as the driver gunned the engine and we sped off, the thing is the crocodile is a cold-blooded animal and it was a very cold morning for Florida, cold-blooded crocodiles move very slowly when it is cold, so I doubt that the croc ever got a hold of that bird.
