    I could post mine much larger too, if I just didn't resize them. I typically resize mine to either 600 x 450 pixels or 800 x 600 pixels depending on how much detail the image loses when it's compressed. Otherwise, if I just left them in their original state, straight out of the camera, they'd be 2592 x 1944 pixels.

    A lot of places actually have size limits on how large your pictures are allowed to be in order to host them there. I don't remember if there was an actual restriction to filesize here in the DWT galleries, but I do recall Lou asking politely some time back if we could try to keep the images on the smaller side. The gi-normous pictures tend to use a lot of bandwidth or something. I'm not really a computer person, so I don't really know what that means, but I guess it means something along the lines of it taking more uumph or something to display the picture everytime another visitor loads the page, which in turn costs more to keep the site running. So... even with as much as I love big pics, I try to keep them reasonably sized for Ace's sake.
