    How do you all get such nice night shots? Mine always come out blurry. Maybe it's bacause I'm so excited my hands shake!

    If your camera has a night setting it is very helpful and the highest speed that you can set your camera to for fireworks and such. And yes....a steady hand doesn't hurt. I bought a small tripod (I believe it's about 21 inches long fully extended, but folds down to about 6 inches and very lightweight) for our last trip and managed to get the best fireworks and night shots that I ever have.

    A mini tripod is a great idea. I have one that would be to cumbersome to carry. I have to work on these night shots.

    I even found that holding the tripod rather than the camera itself when I was in a location where I couldn't actually set up the tripod helped to steady my hand. That's how I took all of my Wishes shots this past trip. The tripod folded down small enough to fit easily in my camera bag.
