    Another "Rose and Crown"...

    Hi Folks,

Recently started to post on the boards, thought I'd try a photo post.

My wife and I were in London in April, and we were walking back to the hotel when we stumbled upon this pub:

Evidently this is one of many "Rose and Crown" pubs in the UK. Don't know if anyone has ever posted one before, thought I'd give it a go...

No matter where I go on vacation, there's always something to remind me of WDW.

    Cheers,

    Sal

Where abouts in London is the pub? I'd like to check it out and see if the fish and chips compare to the Rose and Crown we all know and love.

This particular Rose and Crown pub resides at:

    2 Old Park Lane, London, W1K 1QN
    Tel 020 7499 1980

It is literally 100 feet from the Hard Rock Cafe London off of Piccadilly. The closest London Underground station is Hyde Park Corner.

Now, while we were in London we had Fish and Chips (at another pub)...and amazingly, we did not enjoy them as much as we did at Yorkshire County Fish Shop (counter service outside Rose and Crown) at Epcot this summer...

I do believe that in Epcot the Fish and Chips at both the Yorkshire and inside the Rose and Crown is Harry Ramsden's brand, which is evidently a popular chain in the UK. Wonder if anyone can confirm this?

Regardless, I'd much rather have my fish and chips in World Showcase!!!!

Thanks for the update. We're planning on fish and chips tomorrow night, but at a small restaurant north of there.

    Mini-V,

If you had to choose the best fish and chips in London, where would you suggest? (I'm guessing you're in the UK...something I just realized! )
