Pins stolen at MGM
Well, we just returned from a great week at Disney. Myself, wife, daughter 11, and son 8. The night before our last day in the World, my daughter went on Star Tours with my wife and son. She stowed her pin case w/20 pins under the seat. In her excitement, she left them there. It was near closing, and when she realized she'd left them, we were on the tram to parking. We jumped off, and notified security. Too late. Someone stole them. We checked Lost & Found - nothing. It was such a bummer. She had about 15 hidden Mickey's from this trip and our trip last year. She was crushed. She had her name in the case on a driver's license from Sci Fi. They had to know it belonged to a kid. What's with people? So, it left a bad memory on our otherwise great trip.
So, dad bought her a couple starter sets at the Pop Century gift shop, and we traded at the AS gift shops until midnight. She got a few back that she'd lost, but the entire episode still bothers us.
Thats awful! People are so rude and mean... even in Disney. Karma will come around to get them. I hope she will get all of her pins back and many more very soon.

I would call again just to make sure it didn't turn up, you never know.

Unfortunately I can believe this. While I was at pizza planet I was playing a video game and had set my video camera bag down on the ground next to me. When my game was over I looked down and my bag had disappeared. I feel for you guys. This one event had almost ruined my vacation. It was on our second day at the world and 4 more to go. I truely hope your daughter gets her pins back.

I thought in between rides the CM's checked those little nets to be sure nothing was left behind? What really stinks is I bet it was an adult that stole it. Sad really. I guess this backs up DH's fervor over me not bringing my pin case to the parks.
