official pin trading

If anyone has bought pins from the official pin trading site, please let me know I have a few questions.
Do you have to wait until the release date to order? Are the limited edition pins harder to get if you try order them?
Any info anyone has would greatly appreciated.

A few years ago i bought pins off the official site....i waited until the day they were released or a few days after the one i purchased was limited edition which wasn't to hard to get

Disney's response..

- OPEN EDITION pins are available for immediate Mail Order Sale upon
release date and while supplies last.
- LIMITED EDITION pins are available for Mail Order Sale (30) days after
their release date, while supplies last. Please contact us on the
availability date to place your order. You may purchase up to two (2)
pins per day.
- SURPRISE, EVENT, ARTIST CHOICE, LIMITED EDITION JUMBO, PASSHOLDER and
other specified pins ARE NOT available for Mail Order Sale.

I went ahead and tried to order some limited edition pins. The email I got back said the same thing, that I would have to wait 30 days after the release date to get them. Since the ones I tried to get each have a separate release date I wonder if I still will be able to get them since they are limited edition. Has anyone been able to get limited edition pins after waiting the amount of time?
