Poll: Do you Trade Pins?

I was reading Kyle's thread/poll asking if people would be willing to trade pins here with other DWT members and it occurred to me that we don't really know how many of you are pin traders.

So I am asking.... Are you a Pin Trader?

Hopefully we will get a good indication of the community we have here.

I enjoy all things Disney, but although I have purchased a few pins for myself and my kids I am just not an avid pin collector/trader. Glad others have so much fun with it though!!

good question MBabe! I trade as mauch as possible when I am at the parks, I always like to have several new or different pins to look at when I get home from the parks to make me want to go back even more!

Well, it's kind of like this. I guess I am more of a pin COLLECTOR than trader. I have over 20 pins, but each one I have I bought for a reason and it would be very difficult for me to part with any of the ones I have. So, I guess I am NOT a pin trader.

I only recently started out with pins, so I'm no where near in a position to talk about them, let alone trade them!

It does seem that the company is making an absolute KILLING off of them.

That pretty much sums me up as well. I have encouraged my DD to trade, and she did pretty well last trip with no idea about value, etc.

Pin Trading is alot of fun because you get a chance to talk with people from around the world

My kids really enjoy this more than the wife and I. We usually buy pins to collect. The kids just trade with CMs.

I like trading pins. I only trade with CMs. I have a few but I'm not obsessed with them. Some are really nice though.

I don't trade pins... I never bought one. The only Disney pin I own is the one I got for free for performing there in highschool *shrug*.
I usually spend most of my money buying keychains from every single place I go.

After just returning home from the "Trade TIll You Fade" Pin Event (thanks to John Rick for the invite!!!), I may have to change my answer... I can feel the transformation taking place...

It is actually my Son that loves it. He has a hard time trading though...he always sees ones that he wants, but never wants to give another up for it

He's only 4, we are working on it. There was this awesome cast member who worked at the gift shop at the All Star Movies that gave my Son a sought after Figment pin as well as a Cast Member Goofy license plate pin. Those are treasured ones!

Only 4 more posts til I hit 1000!!!!!!

My daughter is more of a pin collector. She has a hard time giving any up. We usually by multiples for a few trades.

I am torn on the issue. I tend to collect pins but my DH likes to trade with CMs. He always looks for the excutive-looking people because he thinks they have better pins. Next trip I intend on buying several pins just for the reason of trading.

And buying some for me to keep!

I made the mistake of putting my gold ears on some foreign girl's head! She freaked out and was like "See! See! Por Favor! See!" I had to take them off her head immidiately so she wouldn't get the wrong idea hehe... too late.. she then boarded ARRC and I said something like "Yo quiero taco bell" and when she looked I tossed her my Partners pin!
