I guess I'm a little confused on this whole thing. Would you care to explain it please?
You probably seen my little button in my sig and are saying, "What the heck are Dee Bees?!"
During Disney's recent pin event, The Museum of Pin-Tiquities, their presentation was interrupted my messages saying something like, "They Are Real," and things similar.
No one knows what this is but the Dee Bee blog is on the Disney Pin Trading website so it might have to do with pins.
Here's the link to the site : http://eventservices.disney.go.com/p...event?id=45148.
What do you think the promotion is? There is also a secret message from the Dee Bees on the site. It's in their language (Disney logo Windings). I figured it out. Can you? Here's the link to the note: http://eventservices.disney.go.com/files/DeeBeeNote.jpg

It's a marketing promotion for something related to Disney pins. Dee Bees are mysterious creatures that can only bee seen at night. I think this is just a way to get people talking kinda like the "Are you 23?" thing.

Thank the first letter of the attraction the symbol represents. (i.e. It's a Small World clock face=I)

Does anyone know what the status of these DeeBees are now? I just remembered about these things today and was wondering if anyone has seen these things or what they are... ?![]()

Crikey - I'd forgotten all about these... I think some of these characters are quite cute, but the marketing didn't seem to capture a huge amount of interest that I could tell.

So here goes:
What is a DeeBee?
"Legend tells of enchanted creatures named DeeBees who first visited Disney parks and Resorts many years ago. These fun-loving creatures so enjoyed the sights, sounds, thrills and magic that they moved into the place where dreams come true.
Details about the DeeBees are shrouded in mystery. DeeBees are said to appear only after sunset and play throughout the night. Several types of DeeBees are thought to exist: "Travelers", who are not tied to anywhere specific; "Roamers", who make thier home in a general area; and "Settlers", who find a specific place they love and never leave.
DeeBees take pride in dressing like and collecting things from the places in which they dwell. Finally, no one knows how many DeeBees exisit or where they may be found next.
Based on these tales, we present our interpretation of the DeeBees via a new collection of Disney pins."
Disney Design Group artist Chris Chapman, created this interpretation on the DeeBee myth.
