Poll: How many Disney Pins do you have?

Ok, since my last reply, I have climbed to almost 1500 pins and will be loading up in two weeks with a bunch more I'm sure. LOL. Imagine if I did not stick to just Mickey pins as My One character to focus on. I am running out of space on My corkboards.

I have a bunch. I bough a lot back when the disney store sold the for under 5 dollar for 100 year of magic. Also when my local disney store closed i got a bunch for under $3. However now I trade , I think its more fun talking to the cast members and seaching for stitch pins and I make a personal misson to give on pin(s) to a kid(s) and one to cast member that only trade with kid ( the green laynards).

I think my last count was about 90. I can't wait till I get back to the parks to get some more! those are the most special...better than any on ebay because they have memories and experiences attached to them. I also am aiming to get all of the D23 pins in the charter year that I can.

It started on my first trip to the world and then I just got pulled in when i started to discover all the parts of disney....and the pins that had to do with them!

Also, I have a question:
Is it safe to put pins on a bulletin board? I heard somewhere that the pin part can bend and/or break off if you do that... any experiences?

I've been to Disney 6 times. I already have 65 pins! It doesn't seem like much but if u think about it, thats around $100 in pins per trip. I was more of a collecter until my last trip in november. I started really trading then. I've gotten in to collecting the hidden mickey sets thats come in the pouches. I buy one pouch and then hunt down the rest of the collection. This is really fun to do when you are walking down main street or hollywood boulevard. I have the full figment emotions set, fastpass sets 1 and 2, and the park map symbols set.

I have about 200 pins. I didn't mean to start, it just sort of pulled me in. I had bought a few to get my Fiance excited for their first trip. We bought a few more on the Honeymoon. Then a few more when we went back a few months later. and it just kept rolling from there. I don't really get into what the value of a pin is, it's just about getting what I like. I find, much like the Podcast, that it's a great fix when you are away from the Parks.

100 offical ones exactly including an exclusinve Magic music days pin

Also a few unoffical disney pins as well. I had bought two disney pins in paris before I even knew what pin trading was and then when went to Florida in 2005 started to get more pins every time I went to the parks.. They're great for a cheaper souvenier as well

A few of the pins i have that are cast exclusive are the Traditions pin, the Pin you get at Once Upon a time...is Now (MK cast orientation), CM Trainer pin, and the Discover Day (Epcot CM Orientation) Pin. I have earned those pins and will not sell them for any price

They serve as a reminder of my time as a CM at WDW.

We have like 220-ish i think. My sister and I collected since we were little, so we have lots of animals in our collection(BIG animal phase). My mom always collected Sleeping Beauty, Stitch and Eeyore. Over the years we got lots and lots so we bought a cork board , removed the backs from our pins and stuck them into place after dividing them up into small categories(ie: Mickey, Lilo & Stitch, Dogs,etc.) Over our last trip, my sister and I went overboard on the hunt for the Vinylmations(series 1 and 2) and found all but one

I love the Vinylmation Pins, They are by far the focus of my collection, aside from a few characters I go after, and the Pins I just like for no reason. The idea of having one set shape and then seeing how so many different people can do so many different things, within that shape. As a creative person I really appreciate the whole idea. And I love the fact that those of us who can't really afford to buy the figures in the quantity we would like to collect, we can buy the Pins which are much more reasonable.
