Real or fake?

Hi everyone! I have been pin trading since they came out. I recently started buying them on ebay in lots so i can have them to trade. I got 1 lot of them for christmas and i think some of them may be fake. My dad read the reviews and he said people have said that they got fake ones. So besides just looking them up on the disney pin site because i got 40 and making sure they are all true will take a while. I have found some that i am unsure about and some that i know they make pins like but the color seems off on parts like mickey's shoes( on the hidden mickey good series in 2010) they look more green then yellow. I am concerned because i have gotten a fake pin before of ebay and i bought it in dec but didnt go till march so it was too late to say anything. Thanks for all your help!!

There very well could be some fakes in the group. Unfortunately, you have very little recourse at e-bay except helping others by writing a review on the seller if they are selling fakes.

Fake pins? Now I've heard everything.

Ok thanks cause like i dont want to trade them with a cast member by mistake and have someone else have a fake pin cause then i would feel guilty and thats not fair for me to share my misfortune with someone else one their vacation

Yeah i didnt hear about it until last march when i got a fake pin and i was at a trading night and someone pointed out that it was sliver and not gold like it needed to be. then when i got back from my trip i looked it up on the pin site and sure enough it was wrong.

Would it be too cynical to assume the "fakes" are probably produced in the same factory?
