AM UPDATE:
Ok so the drs are truely compassionate. They called (yes the drs. not the nurses) twice in the night and already (7:30) this morning!! I don't know why we waited to move her. Anyway, they got her stable early this morning but she has way to many complications everyehere else that it's......
we're making her comfortable and they have no idea how long. mom and dad left for the hospital. That's what I have for you right now...
Much love

Ok so today i drive down to the hospital...dressed for work (so i was in a tie and such) and I walk with purpose so I walk into the hospital and go to the floor where ICU is and step off the elevator and walk out and just get the door when this aide asks me where I was going...stopped me mid pace...so i stop and am cordial and in my best tone i'm like I'm here to see so and so. She's like, we are not allowing visitors for the next half hour...i was like i'm sorry this is very urgent...are you a relative...yes, i am...we are not allowing any visitors...i'm sorry ma'am this is very urgent I must...sir i cannot let you go in there...
i just walked in, spoke with head nurse on duty as i got to the ICU room and the nurse was like, you're fine, i know your mother, visiting hours don't apply to you, you guys can come whenever you'd like...I thanked her and visited with my grandmother.
she is doing VERY well. much better than two days ago...even beter than yesterday. She has a case of pneumonia and there is no talks of release yet. they are "restarting her system" per se where they have stopped ALL meds except for insulin and antibiotic for the pneumonia...after about two/three days her systerm should be clear of all meds and they will restart meds. All is well for now...she really gave us a scare.
So that is the update...the aide...OMG i wish someone could have been there...it was pretty funny...I WAS VERY NICE with her...it was funny. no one got in trouble.
Thanks guys.

Wishes can come true, if you believe in them with all your heart.
And the best part is, you'll never run out of wishes.
They're shining deep down inside of you.

I'm glad your grandmother continues to improve. It appears she still has a long way to go to recovery.
I'm also glad that you keep your cool with the aide. Just like all bottom of the rung workers, she had her instructions. She was just doing what she was instructed to do. She wouldn't have had the authority to allow you in over the instructions of her supervisior.
