Tonight I got a phone call from my brother who was at Downtown Disney. My parents who were with him got a phone call that my dad's mom, my grandma, had passed away. It was quick as she collapsed and she didn't come to at all, so it was very quick - she was on her way to get dinner with my aunt, so she wasn't alone. My grandma was an amazing woman and I never had the opportunity to meet my other grandma as she died before I was born. My grandma watched me during the day until I started school and I always had a close relationship with her. She was 90, so by all means she lived an amazing and full life. My grandpa has died in his 70s, so I'm sure she is more than happy to see him again.

The funeral arrangements are being made in Wisconsin for next week (possibly Wednesday) and I will be able to fly up for them luckily. I'm glad I have the opportunity.

My graduation ceremony from College is tomorrow afternoon (the 28th). I am going to need some support as I make it through tomorrow and the next week. My family will also need some much needed support as we are all spread out at this time and are a very close family.

You're in my prayers! I can understand your closeness with your gram. I'm the same way with mine and now my DD is so I know when it's her time it's going to be hard.

I made it through graduation which was tough. And I only teared up when my the first thing my dad did when he saw me was give me a huge hug from my aunt and grandma. However, I did decide to wear eyemakeup this morning since i looked like a racoon when i woke up, and I managed to only tear up and not cry. I survived and we made it through the day.

I survived with the help of some hugs from the few people that knew. My grandma's two other kids besides my dad (my aunt and uncle) are waiting to go to the funeral parlor to figure things out on Monday morning so I'll know then when I end up going to Wisconsin. However right now it looks like I may be there Tuesday-Saturday with the funeral/viewing not until wednesday or thursday since they are waiting.

Funeral/Viewing is Thursday at 4pm with burial friday morning? so I'll probably be gone Tuesday-Sunday... I have a cheap grievence fair. I just have an hour and a half layover in Kansas City going up and it adds an hour to my flight time. Thanks for your support everyone.

Jeanne I am sooooo very sorry to hear about your loss. It is never easy to go through a tough time like this and I am glad your family has been there to support you. You and your whole family are in my thoughts and prayers!
